Expense Splitter Online (expensesplitteronline.com) is a free, client-side expense splitter calculator for groups, trips, festivals, and roommates. We built it to be fast, private, and accessible without any sign-up.

Because the application runs entirely in your web browser, all data — group members, expense descriptions, amounts, and balances — is stored locally in your browser's localStorage. It never leaves your device unless you choose to share a generated group link or export your data yourself.

3. Client-Side Storage

• All expense data is kept in your browser only.
• No remote database, server-side account, or user profile is created.
• Clearing your browser data or using private/incognito mode will remove locally stored expenses.
• Generated share links are URL-hash based and contain no personally identifiable information.

4. No Tracking & No Analytics

We do not run analytics, advertising, or third-party tracking scripts on this site. No cookies are set for tracking purposes.

5. Children's Privacy

Since no personal information is collected and no account is required, the service is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13.

6. Your Rights

Because we do not collect or store your data, there is nothing for us to access, correct, or delete on your behalf. You control all data by clearing your browser storage or by not using the share/export features.
